Michelle Mussman Visits Timber Ridge

State Representative Michelle Mussman, a dedicated public servant and advocate for her community, recently visited Timber Ridge School, part of the NSSEO cooperative. Invited by Gina Lozano, a committed classroom aide and union representative, and accompanied by Principal Mike Wagrowski and Superintendent Meg Schnoor, Representative Mussman took a heartfelt tour of the school, where they all engaged with staff and students. Known for her warm and approachable demeanor, she spent time answering questions from everyone, fostering a sense of connection and understanding. Michelle Mussman has served as the Illinois State Representative for the 56th district since 2011, representing communities such as Schaumburg, Elk Grove Village, and Hoffman Estates. Throughout her tenure, she has prioritized education, mental health, and family support, chairing the Elementary & Secondary Education: School Curriculum & Policies Committee and serving on several other impactful committees. Her legislative achievements include expanding access to birth control through HB0135 and improving vocational rehabilitation programs for individuals with disabilities via HB0452.
