Harvest Fest 2025

Harvest Fest 2025

Always a special time of the year, The Harvest Fest at Sunrise Lake Outdoor Education Center was a huge hit, as it always is! Families, friends, and staff came together for a surprisingly beautiful sunny day of fall fun, laughter, and outdoor adventure — and the numbers say it all!

Roman and Lizzie were busy launching an incredible 40 paddle boats throughout the day as guests took to the lake surrounded by trees changing colors, to enjoy the crisp autumn air. Over at the pumpkin carving stations, creativity was in full swing with about 100 pumpkins carved or decorated, and for those who love a little excitement, 25 pumpkins were launched across the lake to the cheers of the crowd!

Down by the dock, fishing poles were reeling nonstop — more than 30 fish were caught during the event. And what’s a fall festival without great food? Guests enjoyed an impressive 276 hot dogs (we only had one package left!) and nearly polished off 200 corn on the cobs, with just a handful remaining by the end of the day.

Despite the sun hiding for the last hour or two, the smiles, laughter, and sense of community made this another unforgettable Harvest Fest. A huge thank-you to everyone who joined us and helped make this day such a success, we can’t wait to see you again next year at Sunrise!
