2026 Winter Wonderland

2026 Winter Wonderland

A more emotional Winter Wonderland than normal, as we see our favorite outdoor educator, camp counselor, and human being, Bryan Bolger, wrap up his illustrious career and host his last winter event at Sunrise Lake. While we are sad, we know he will still come by and share time and stories with us as he travels around the world with his wife for retirement.

Now, of course, Sunrise went out and celebrated properly this year. Animals and crafts in the crafts lodge. Drinks, snacks, games, and marshmallows and popcorn in the Adventure Lodge. Sledding, ice sculpting, snowballs, fire pits, hiking, snowshoeing, and the first-ever spinning ice circle at Sunrise! They cut a huge circle in the lake and kept it spinning as you could walk back and forth, spinning and not spinning, and enjoying all the amazing views it provided!

Winter Wonderland will always be the best way to spend a winter Saturday. While we will enjoy the summer, we are all looking forward to this event next winter!!
