After a very exciting and hard-fought season, the Kirk Cubs gathered together one last time to celebrate the season as one. Coach Nick and Coach Ian hosted a pep rally for the players and cheerleaders who participated in this season's success. Each player and cheerleader had a chance to grab the microphone and say a few things about the season, what they learned, and what they will miss the most. An overwhelming number of answers were about missing their teammates and spending time together. A true example of what sports are fundamentally about, camaraderie and collaboration, while competing for a common goal. It was a very quick and very sweet pep rally, and everyone is now pumped up for next season, but until then, we wait (and enjoy summer)!
