“Caffie Williams, an ESP at Miner School, is one of the most kindhearted and thoughtful people we know. She gives her time and resources without conditions and with a grateful heart. It is impossible not to smile when you’re around Caffie, even on the worst of days. She builds everyone up and is extremely patient with everyone. Caffie takes the time to say “hi” and get to know each new staff until they feel comfortable. She is often seen dancing, singing to herself, or acting out books with kids. In addition to what she does at Miner, Caffie cooks for her neighbors, volunteers with adults with disabilities, and spends free time supporting Feed My Starving Children. Everyone absolutely adores Caffie, and feels she is most deserving to be honored as the Heartbeat of the Week!
